Recently, according to the Notice on the Evaluation Results of Jiangxi Provincial Outstanding Doctoral and Master's Theses released by the Office of the Academic Degrees Committee of Jiangxi Provincial People's Government, six master’s theses supervised by four faculty members from our School of Sociology and Humanities have been selected as “Outstanding Master’s Theses” for the 2023–2024 academic year.
In this highly competitive review process, our students distinguished themselves through their solid academic foundations, innovative research approaches, and rigorous research ethics, thus showcasing the high quality of postgraduate education at our school. The achievement follows our school’s successful establishment of a doctoral program in sociology in 2024, marking a new era of integrated master’s and doctoral training and elevating our postgraduate education to unprecedented heights.
Looking ahead, our school will closely align with the university’s “Three Major Transformations” initiative and continue to uphold its spirit of “rooting in grassroots communities, focusing on development, and keeping pace with cutting - edge trends”. By doing so, we aim to contribute significantly to the construction of an education powerhouse in Jiangxi and China, and embody the “Jiangcai Model” for academic excellence and societal impact.
